NEW PARISH CENTRE COLLECTION BOXES–
The amount from collection boxes last month was £245.10. Other donations and fundraising events, including £288 raised from the Clarissa Dickson-Wright book signing totalled: £3053.86. Making a grand total: £3298.96. The next weekend for collection boxes will be the 9th and 10th of January 2010.ST. CUTHBERT - THANK YOU
From Richard Evans: "May I please use this Sunday Message to thank all parishioners from the bottom of my heart for their wonderful support through prayer, good wishes and sponsorship during my recent trek along St. Cuthbert’s Way. I felt safe and hugely supported throughout and with most sponsorship now in, I will have raised about £1895.00 towards the new Parish Centre. With Gift Aid the total should reach nearer £2250.00. Beginning on the 12th of October Richard Evans will be setting out from Melrose to walk the seventy or so miles of St. Cuthbert's Way to LIndisfarne. He hopes to complete the journey on the 18th of October.St. Cuthbert (c. 634-87) – “When this venerable servant of our Lord had spent many years in the monastery of Melrose and had become renowned for his wonderful acts of virtue, the most reverend Abbot Eata transferred him to Lindisfarne to instruct the brethren these in the observance of regular discipline both in his official capacity as prior and by his personal example.”

NEW GROUP TO SUPPORT THE PARUSH COMMUNITY CENTRE PROJECT -
The project to build our new centre and memorial garden will soon be moving into a new and exciting stage. To support the fundraising appeal and project we would like to hear from volunteer parishionesr with skills in printing and design, website production, powerpoint and fundraising publicity, etc. to join a new informa group. Last week's table top sale raised £518.75. Many thanks go to the organisers and supporters of this event.NEW PARISH CENTRE COLLECTION BOXES–
Thank you for remembering to bring your collection boxes for the New Parish Community Centre. The total raised from the collection boxes was £932.26. Other donations received were £118 from the coffee morning, £250 from the CD sale, £150 from the Operatic Society and £5,000 from the PF Charitable Trust. Total £6,332.26. God bless you for your generosity.SPONSORED WALK – The total raised is £17,328.83!! With many thanks again to everyone who generously sponsored Fr. Paul and Ewan. Wih many of the donations being gift aided, the total may increase (approximately) by a further £2,500. God Bless and please keep the project firmly in your prayers.
